This lecture begins with a discussion of the final thesis paper, and what is expected:What is a major, upcoming public policy issue?
Why is it going to be an issue?
What are its Constitutional implications?
What is one’s personal opinion of the Natural Law theory as a resource for fueling a Constitutional argument to address such a public policy problem?
Within the bounds of the Constitution, what should the project or campaign be to redress such a public policy issue?
It goes on to begin a discussion of the 2012 National Defense Authorization Act, specifically sections 1021 and 1022, and its unconstitutionality. Professor Sheehan makes it clear that this is nothing new, but we must face it nonetheless.
A reading of Franklin Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson quotes ensues, making it clear that a “shadow” government does exist, is acknowledged, and can be found in major corporations. Corporate power has seized control of our government and the world’s natural resources with the goal of creating one world government, set up through trade agreements (e.g., NAFTA, TPP).
The players of this shadow government convene in various institutions and organizations, of which some are enumerated.
The commonality to draw in this elite oligarchy is Fascism. Examples include the funding and legal counsel for Nazi Germany. Therefore, there is also an inherent racist element of white supremacy.
The next lecture will continue with more details about who this elite oligarchy is, and what it is they have done.

The corporate takeover of food with its toxic chemical inputs poses serious health and environmental problems. Corporate agriculture, The New York Times states unequivocally “is causing irreparable harm to the planet.” It is “ravaging the air, soil and water, destroying wildlife habitats and spurring climate chaos. The system, a vast web of industries and processes that stretches from seed to pasture, to packaging, to the supermarket, to the trash dump, produces at least a third of all human-caused greenhouse gases.” There are alternatives. We can learn much from traditional organic farming techniques as practiced by indigenous farmers. In this program, Vandana Shiva describes the importance of biodiversity and the interconnectedness of all life. She says, “What we do to the Earth, what we do to the land, what we do to biodiversity eventually comes back to us. There is no separation.”
Vandana Shiva is an internationally renowned voice for sustainabldevelopment and social justice. She’s a physicist, scholar and social activist. She is a founder of Navdanya and Director of the Research Foundation for Science, Technology and Natural Resource Policy in New Delhi. She is the recipient of the Sydney Peace Prize and of the Right Livelihood Award, the alternative Nobel Prize. She is the author of many books including Water Wars, Earth Democracy, Soil Not Oil, and Oneness vs the 1%.

This broadcast continues our visits with Jim DiEugenio–author of Destiny Betrayed and JFK Revisited–selected by Oliver Stone to write the screenplay for his latest documentary.
In these broadcasts, we are additionally privileged by the participation of Dr. Gary Aquilar, one of the experts featured in the Stone/DiEugenio documentary, as well as being one of the ground-breaking figures in the ongoing inquiry into the medical evidence in the assassination.
Dr. Aquilar highlighted the deep professional compromising of people who filled “expert” roles in the various medical examinations, the involvement of a number of them as “experts” in other, important intelligence-connected cases such as the assassination of Martin Luther King.
In particular, Dr. Aquilar parsed the inconsistencies in a review of the medical evidence in the JFK assassination case that was instituted by then Attorney General Ramsey Clark–“inconsistencies” which are difficult to ascribe to caprice or error.
In addition to his presentation of new material with which even Jim DiEugenio was unfamiliar, Gary was instrumental in discussion of the medical/forensic evidence in the JFK assassination case.

Marilyn Waring’s work and inspiring life are described in a documentary film by Terre Nash. I’m bringing back the soundtrack of this film to support a debate on the unquestioned need for economic growth at all cost and on what course to take to end the war on Ukraine.
At age 22 (in 1974) Marilyn Waring became the youngest member of the New Zealand Parliament. She chaired the prestigious Public Expenditures Committee and became familiar with the Gross Domestic Product system and decided to disclose its pathologies in a film, her teachings at AUT University in Auckland and really her life as a feminist economist. The film, “Who’s Counting” traces her quest to explore how the fate of women and of the earth are irrevocably tied up with the deadly pursuit of economic growth.
Marilyn Waring was shocked and dismayed when she learned that all countries that are members of the UN are forced to keep their books and design their budgets under the system of National Income Accounting. This GDP system counts only cash transactions in the market and recognizes no value other than money. This means there is no value to peace and to the preservation of the environment.
