BEHIND THE SCENES
Next Monday, August 31, 6pm, is the final day of the current fund drive. Our goal had been $600,000. When we found that was impossible, it was cut to the ‘must have now’ $300,000. As of Sunday morning we have received $222,487 in pledges. We have been operating without an active and present manager, no program director, nobody in charge of the fund drive. The plan of the board is unknown but the local board will be making a statement on Tuesday 7pm, KPFK.
Between now and then we expect the Los Angeles Superior Court to make a decision on the legality of the recent New Day Pacifica vs. Old Pacifica vote and the ex post facto change from voting ‘yes vs. no’ to ‘staffs vs. members’ (subscribers) on a 2 tier grouping. The two tier vote is in the Pacifica Bylaws but only if one side winning would create a hard time for the staffs. This was not in force or mentioned anywhere before the votes were counted.
The next paid staff in line to be fired are me (Roy), Maggie LaPique (Music Director) and Alex (our computer man) if the surprise switch to two tier election is judged legal. (Sonali has left KPFK). The paid staff normally brought in 60% of our income and the firings have not helped us make goal.

In the fall 2013 quarter at the University of California, Santa Cruz, Daniel Sheehan taught a class on the theories of the JFK assassination, one of the first courses of its kind ever taught. Alex Smith interviewed Ed Struzik on the recent out of control firestorms and how wetlands can limit their spread This extraordinary conversation between Alex Smith and Ed Struzik was broadcast on August 18, 2021, on the weekly one-hour radio show Ecoshock.
Struzik is a science journalist and Fellow at Queens University, Canada. In his book FIRESTORM he visits scorched earth from Alaska to Maine, and introduces the scientists, firefighters, and resource managers making the case for a radically different approach to managing wildfire in the 21st century. Wildfires can no longer be treated as avoidable events because the risk and dangers are becoming too great and costly.
Alex Smith also asks about Struzik’s October 2021 book SWAMPLANDS and the struggle being waged to save peatlands and their rich biological heritage. Swamps and peatlands also happen to be the best antidote to wildfires – unless they are drained for fossil fuel extraction or palm oil plantations and then can burn for months – spewing methane.

Why is the world experiencing such a “prominent outbreak” of the Delta variant when so many people have been vaccinated?
Cardiologist Dr. Peter McCullough addressed those questions and more on the “RFK Jr. The Defender Podcast.”
New research shows people who are vaccinated against COVID are more susceptible to the Delta variant, said McCullough, pointing to a pre-print study by the prestigious Oxford University Clinical Research Group published Aug. 10 in The Lancet
A preprint paper by the prestigious Oxford University Clinical Research Group, published Aug. 10 in The Lancet, found vaccinated individuals carry 251 times the load of COVID-19 viruses in their nostrils compared to the unvaccinated.
The paper’s authors demonstrated widespread vaccine failure and transmission under tightly controlled circumstances in a hospital lockdown in Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam. The study found vaccinated people carry 251 times the viral load of SARS-CoV-2 in their nostrils compared to the unvaccinated.
“They had an outbreak and they locked down the hospital where the workers could not get out,” said McCullough. “They were assiduously checking the workers and testing them for COVID, as well as doing sequencing.”
The researchers found workers were still getting COVID during the lockdown period, said McCullough, and they were passing it to one another.
The study’s big finding is their calculation of viral load, McCullough said:
“This group had actually calculated viral load from oral and nasal secretions in the past. The viral load was 251 times that of the previous unvaccinated era where they had used the same methodology. So, they had previous workers and patients who had COVID-19 before any exposure to the vaccines. And now the vaccinated were carrying a massive viral load and passing it to one another.”
The efficacy for the Pfizer vaccine is measured as being anywhere from 17% to 42% effective.
“These levels are far below the 50% regulatory standard to even have a vaccine on the market,” said McCullough.
Regardless of the variant or the vaccine, McCullough said the bottom line is that “the vaccines are failing.”

The title of the program stems from a deadly dichotomization of the discussion of the origin of Covid-19 into either: “A naturally-occurring phenomenon” OR “The Lab Leak Theory.”
Tellingly missing is the deliberately-created, biological warfare pandemic hypothesis that Mr. Emory has been advancing since the very beginning of the pandemic. (This analysis was first advanced in FTR#‘s 1111 & 1112. This program was recorded in early February of 2020.)
With Michael R. Gordon helping craft journalistic justification for the “Lab-Leak Theory” and Philip Zelikow chairing a commission investigating Covid-19, we are seeing players in the PNAC/Iraqi WMD/9/11 nexus being recycled in connection with that theory.
In that context, we review a study released by US National Academy of Sciences at the request of the Department of Defense about the threats of synthetic biology concluded that the techniques to tweak and weaponize viruses from known catalogs of viral sequences is very feasible and relatively easy to do.
Note that the Pentagon has funded research into bat-borne coronaviruses in China and at the “Oswald Institute of Virology,” through various vehicles, including and especially (in combination with USAID) the EcoHealth Alliance .
That research has led to the publication of research papers including some featuring the genomes of bat-borne coronaviruses.
Once those papers are published, the viruses can be “printed out” at will, either as direct copies or as mutated viruses…

There are also hackers who practice the sharing of software, open sourcing and the secure free flow of information.
