1:30-2:30 Helen Caldicott and Michael Madsen:‘’Into Eternity ‘’

By Maria, May 5, 2020

This adds to the Nuclear Power debate inspired by the Michael Moore film “Planet of the Humans” From the TUC Radio Archives:

This is a conversation between Helen Caldicott and Michael Madsen whose film, Into Eternity, premiered in the US in February 2011. Into Eternity is a documentary about the building of the world’s first permanent repository for nuclear waste in Finland. It shows not only the construction under way that will take 140 years, but introduces the people involved, the scientists, regulators and corporate executives who oversee this project. None of them will be alive when Onkalo, as the repository is called, will be finished in 2120; and they must expect this repository to remain intact and untouched by future humans for at least 100,000 years. Such is the danger and longevity of waste from nuclear power plants.

Helen called Madsen “One of the more extraordinary people I’ve ever interviewed”. This is a thought provoking exchange between the veteran campaigner, Helen Caldicott, who dedicated her life to alerting us to the nuclear danger, and the young Danish artist. He introduces thoughts about civilization, language, danger and eternity.

In their conversation they say they question how anybody can even contemplate a human made repository that will last 100,000 years and possibly continue without human maintenance. Does this means that the builders do not expect for civilization to last? Or do we have to create an archive of knowledge about the danger of radiation that needs to be maintained? And who maintains that archive?
As mind-bending such a project as Onkalo is, we need several hundred more repositories like Onkalosince most of the waste of the world’s nuclear power plants is sitting next to these plants in the open. Is it fair to future generations to impose such a burden on them?

What Does a Safe and Effective Vaccine Look Like?

Children’s Health Defense has produced a video of Dr. Elizabeth Mumper’s presentation, “How Will We Know That a COVID-19 Vaccine is Safe?” This presentation is the result of a collaborative effort between Dr. Mumper and the team of doctors, scientists and researchers affiliated with Children’s Health Defense.

In the video, Dr. Mumper provides detailed answers to two questions often asked by the public: What does a safe and effective vaccine look like? How will we know that a COVID-19 vaccine is safe?

She reviews many of the reasons why vaccines, as they are currently produced, are not safe, and explains that every year there are tens of thousands of adverse events, many of them resulting in serious conditions or even death.

Dr. Mumper reviews the scientific community’s numerous concerns about the safety of a COVID vaccine and its ingredients, and provides information about each of the top COVID vaccine candidates. She also discusses the legality of mandatory vaccination in a free republic which proclaims to defend the rights of “We the People.” The presentation and factsheet on COVID vaccine concerns is available for download.

12-1 Dave Emory,”For the Record #1162: Farewell America, Part 1”

POSTED BY DAVE EMORY ⋅ NOVEMBER 26, 2020 ⋅ONE COMMENT

In the immediate aftermath of the 2016 election, there was much beating of the breasts and tearing of the hair by mainstream and “alternative” journalists and political forces.

Declaring the (predictable) assault by Trump and much of the GOP on the integrity and accuracy of the election results to be an “attack” that “threatened American democracy,” they might be seen as closing the barn door after the horse had gone.

In fact, “American democracy” had its brains blown all over the back of a limousine in Dallas, Texas on 11/22/1963.

This program presents aspects of the long-dead American democratic process that have escaped widespread examination…

Diana Johnstone’s memoir is Circle in the Darkness: Memoir of a World Watcher. 1-2 Insights At the Edge

Thomas Hübl is an Austrian-born contemporary spiritual teacher and the founder of the Academy of Inner Science. With Sounds True, he has recorded the audio training The Power of We: Awakening in the Relational Field and written a book titled Healing Collective Trauma: A Process for Integrating Our Intergenerational and Cultural Wounds. In this episode of Insights at the Edge, Tami Simon speaks with Thomas about healing collective trauma as the work of our time. They discuss how we can feel and are affected by major traumas of the past, even if we didn’t directly experience them, and the ways in which this contributes to our collective separation. Thomas also explains the concept of “retrocausality,” or the potential for the healing we undertake in our lifetimes to benefit our entire family lines. At a time when so much ancestral trauma, multigenerational trauma, and cultural trauma is in our midst, Thomas invites us to turn toward it and join together to heal and integrate the pain of the past as we create a different future.Thomas He is an Austrian-born contemporary spiritual teacher and founder of the Academy of Inner Science who practices and teaches mysticism in a manner that is entirely in keeping with the times. His work integrates the essence of the great traditions of wisdom with scientific knowledge and his own personal experience. This work leads to the birth of new “we-cultures” enabling people to gain a deeper dimension of self-awareness and responsibility. This radical transcendence of the ego-centric world view opens the door to a depth of authentic expression, to service to the world, and to a focus on the absolute. Website: thomashuebl.com.
