At this point we are probably in the final week of this extra long fund drive — total around $300,000; perilously short of our goal which is $700,000. Things were slowed down by the ex-president Senate ‘’investigation’’ and the one week loss of our phone answering service which froze up in the Texas temperature drop. Some of the democratically elected board is preparing to lay off more of the small staff - we have lost 4 staff members in the last couple of months for budgetary ‘reasons.’ Pacifica’s properties are worth tens of millions of dollars, but only if something gets sold or lost, like buildings or stations.

12-2:30 Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. Children's Health Defense
February 10, 2021, Instagram banned the account of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., an attorney, founder of Children’s Health Defense, and co-founder and president of the environmental group, River Alliance. According to Instagram, his account was removed for “sharing debunked claims about the coronavirus or vaccines.”1
This comes as no surprise to anyone who has paid attention over the past year, when privately owned social media companies started censoring users in earnest, often at the request of government officials, thereby qualifying themselves as bona fide instruments of fascism.
As described in “Fascism Definition With Examples,”2 a hallmark of fascism is an economic system in which government controls private corporations and where “a central planning authority directs company leaders to work in the national interest, which actively suppresses those who oppose it.”
The welfare of the population at large is subjugated in such a system in order to achieve “imperative social goals.” This could, for example, be the goal to vaccinate the entire population against COVID-19, which will ensure the vaccine industry can profit rather than go bust. Public health be damned.
Of course, the entire premise of a mass vaccination campaign against COVID-19 is that it will protect people and prevent unnecessary deaths from the virus. But a hidden, underlying agenda is revealed by the fact that injuries and deaths from the vaccine are either suppressed or shrugged off as collateral damage in the name of the greater good.
In other words, dying due to poor health is unacceptable and must be prevented with a vaccine, whereas dying in good health and at a young age due to vaccine injury is a perfectly acceptable price to protect the vulnerable. The end result is the same: People die. The only differences are how and why people die, and whether or not big business, which funds politicians, can profit in the process.

After reviewing the Ukrainian fascist connections to the destabilization of
China, we detail the strong, eugenicist overlap between
"mainstream" anti-abortion organizations and their closely linked
white supremacist colleagues. Seeking to maximize the birth rate of
"Aryan" offspring and their percentage in the world's population,
they may be seen as being part of a political continuum which includes the
Third Reich.
" . . . . Coexisting in abortion opposition is . . . . a
white supremacist ideology that only desires to prevent white women from
obtaining abortions, but uses universal opposition to abortion as a
pragmatic screen for its goals. As Kathleen Belew, author
of Bring the War Home: The White Power Movement in Paramilitary America,
told The Nation in an interview
in September, for white supremacists, 'opposing abortion, opposing gay rights,
opposing feminism, in white power discourse, all of this is tied to
reproduction and the birth of white children.' . . . Tim Bishop, a
representative of the white nationalist Aryan Nations, said, 'Lots of
our people join [the anti-abortion movement]…. It’s part of our Holy War for
the pure Aryan race.' . . . . "
Central to our analysis is a speculative, yet terrifying biotechnological
element--gene drive technology.
We have spoken about this in numerous previous
programs.
" . . . . Gene drives have been dubbed an 'extinction
technology' and with good reason: gene drive organisms are created by
genetically engineering a living organism with a particular trait, and then
modifying the organism’s reproductive system in order to always force the
modified gene onto future generations, spreading the trait throughout the
entire population. . . ."
" . . . . the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) is
forcing dangerous gene drive technologies onto the world. BMGF is either the
first or second largest funder of gene drive research (alongside the shadowy
U.S. military organisation Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency [DARPA] ).
. . ."
Just imagine what such technology--applied to human reproductive
capacity--could do when deployed by fascist and Nazi elements in the
military/medical establishment!
The emergence of such a development is being facilitated:
" . . . . a private PR firm called Emerging Ag, was
paid US$1.6 million by the BMGF. Part of their work involved coordinating
the 'fight back against gene drive moratorium proponents,' as well as running a
covert advocacy coalition to exert influence on the United Nations Convention
on Biological Diversity (CBD), the key body for gene drive governance. After
calls in 2016 for a global moratorium
on the use of gene drive technology, the CBD sought input from scientists and
experts in an online forum. Emerging Ag recruited and coordinated over 65
experts, including a Gates Foundation senior official, a DARPA (Defense
Advanced Research Project Agency) official, and government and university
scientists, in an attempt to flood the official UN process with their
coordinated inputs. . . ."
At the conclusion of the program we present a very disturbing
hypothetical concept: we fear that the effort to find viral pathogens around
the world and make them more infectious via gain-of-function manipulations is
intended to realize a global, eugenicist, exterminationist and white
supremacist agenda by creating pandemics in the Third World, profit enormously
by making vaccines to treat those pandemics and introduce gene drive technology
into those populations via the vaccines in order to diminish reproduction in
those populations. . . .

1-2 From Neoliberalism to Neofascism

Neo is a Greek prefix meaning new. Fascism of the classic variety is associated with Germany, Italy and Japan. It ends at the conclusion of World War II. But in recent years there has been the development of a different variety which is neofascism. From Modi’s India to Erdogan’s Turkey neofascist autocratic regimes have taken hold. There is a direct connection from the failed economic policies of what is called neoliberalism to neofascism. Neoliberalism was given a huge boost in the 1980s by Reagan and Thatcher. Its characteristics are deregulation, cutting government spending, shredding the social safety net, privatization and tax cuts for the rich. The result: widespread immiseration and discontent. In its wake demagogues, exploiting the situation, have come to power by scapegoating, instigating violence against minorities, coupled with loud calls for “getting our country back.” And lots of flag-waving.

TUC Archives – a 29 minute audio-documentary of a January 2010 art exhibition in the small former logging town of Willits, CA, with poems and paintings by Ferlinghetti; and collages, and photos from Indian reservations by Maria Gilardin.
The re-broadcast of this documentary was scheduled to honor Lawrence Ferlinghetti on his 102nd birthday, March 24. City Lights Publishers just announced that he died last night on February 22nd, 2021. They said that: “He continued to write and publish new work up until he was 100 years old .. His curiosity was unbounded and his enthusiasm was infectious, and we will miss him greatly.” – I agree.
Even though this is not the formal Obit Ferlinghetti deserves, I decided to present this documentary (produced in 2014) as scheduled. The exhibition, End of Industrial Civilization, would not have been possible without his paintings, his poetry and his ideas. Ferlinghetti even continued his engagement with the
project and planned to collaborate to redo the exhibit under the title: Dismantling Industrial Civilization.
The program opens with the Ferlinghetti poem: Wild Dreams of a New Beginning, written in 1974, about the mile high tidal wave that runs over Los Angeles which sinks like the Titanic, all lights lit; crosses the country to sweep Manhattan Island clean in 16 seconds. The washed land then awakes again to wilderness, and the Indians reclaim their canoes.
That is followed by reflexions about Industrial Civilization from ‘The Air conditioned Nightmare’ by Henry Miller and Kirkpatrick Sale’s article: ‘Lessons from the Luddites.’ Followed by comments on Industrialization and self reliance from visitors to the opening reception at the Willits Center for the Arts – including the popular Sheriff of Mendocino. (Interviewed by KZYX programmer Annie Esposito)The program ends with a short biography of Ferlinghetti (up to 2014).

12-1 Dave Emory, “For the Record #1171 - The Missing Chapter Part 1”
In numerous programs and lectures, we have discussed the important, devastatingly successively mind control programs engaged in by the military and CIA. Those programs were developed in reaction to downed American airmen who–after captivity–gave testimony that they had been involved in biological warfare attacks against China and North Korea during the war.
A superb book about Unit 731–the Japanese biological warfare unit during World War II–had a chapter in the British edition that was omitted in the American edition.
(Sadly, the books is out of print, although both the British and American editions are available through used-book services. Mr. Emory heartily encourages listeners to obtain the book. Even the American edition–missing this key chapter–is worthwhile. Hopefully, a publisher will obtain the rights to the book and re-issue it. If so, we will enthusiastically promote the work.)
The chapter in the UK edition chronicles the investigation into the allegations of American BW use during the Korean War, including circumstantial evidence that Unit 731 veterans and methodology may well have been used in the alleged campaign.
That chapter is altogether objective, avoiding ideological bias toward either side in the conflict.
Because of that, we found the omission of this chapter from the U.S. edition to be significant. As the brilliant Peter Dale Scott noted: “The cover-up obviates the conspiracy.”
It is a matter of public record that Unit 731’s files were incorporated into the U.S. biological warfare program, and veterans of the Unit bequeathed their expertise to the Americans in exchange from immunity from prosecution for war crimes…

Mainstream economic models lack some important features of really-existing capitalism, including money, time and space. Its models offer ideological cover for a capitalist system that has usurped competitive, free markets.
The result? Unbearable inequality, climate catastrophe and permanent stagnation. A fork on the road is approaching: It will take us either into deeper stagnation and environmental degradation or to a society with markets but no capitalism. Prof. Yanis Varoufakis talks about the future of our economy and the current state of economics with special regard to pluralism in economics.

James Baldwin was one of the most significant figures of the 20th century. In this moment of racial reckoning, his life and work are being discovered and rediscovered. He was born in 1924 and died in 1987. He graduated from high school in New York but was otherwise self-taught. He said, “I love America more than any other country in the world.” That’s why I reserve “the right to perpetually criticize her.” And criticize he did. In his classic essays such as The Fire Next Time and Notes of a Native Son and his novels Go Tell it on the Mountain and Another Country, he wrote about the white power structure, systemic racism, police brutality, sexism, homophobia, inequality and predatory capitalism.
Eddie Glaude Jr. is the James S. McDonnell Distinguished University Professor of African American Studies at Princeton, where he is also the Chair of the Center for African American Studies and the Chair of the Department of African American Studies. He is the author of Democracy in Black and Begin Again: James Baldwin’s America and its Urgent Lessons for Our Own.
Cornel West is Professor of the Practice of Public Philosophy at Harvard. He has been called “the preeminent African American intellectual of his generation.” With his preacher-like cadences and passionate delivery, he is much in demand as a speaker. Among his many books are Race Matters, The Rich and the Rest of Us and Black Prophetic Fire.

12-1 Dave Emory, “For the Record #1171 - The Missing Chapter Part 1”
In numerous programs and lectures, we have discussed the important, devastatingly successively mind control programs engaged in by the military and CIA. Those programs were developed in reaction to downed American airmen who–after captivity–gave testimony that they had been involved in biological warfare attacks against China and North Korea during the war.
A superb book about Unit 731–the Japanese biological warfare unit during World War II–had a chapter in the British edition that was omitted in the American edition.
(Sadly, the books is out of print, although both the British and American editions are available through used-book services. Mr. Emory heartily encourages listeners to obtain the book. Even the American edition–missing this key chapter–is worthwhile. Hopefully, a publisher will obtain the rights to the book and re-issue it. If so, we will enthusiastically promote the work.)
The chapter in the UK edition chronicles the investigation into the allegations of American BW use during the Korean War, including circumstantial evidence that Unit 731 veterans and methodology may well have been used in the alleged campaign.
That chapter is altogether objective, avoiding ideological bias toward either side in the conflict.
Because of that, we found the omission of this chapter from the U.S. edition to be significant. As the brilliant Peter Dale Scott noted: “The cover-up obviates the conspiracy.”
It is a matter of public record that Unit 731’s files were incorporated into the U.S. biological warfare program, and veterans of the Unit bequeathed their expertise to the Americans in exchange from immunity from prosecution for war crimes…

Kim Stanley Robinson, the well-known science fiction writer, says, “The future isn’t cast into one inevitable course. Either is possible starting from now.”
Vandana Shiva is an internationally renowned voice for sustainable development and social justice. She’s a physicist, scholar and social activist. She is Director of the Research Foundation for Science, Technology and Natural Resource Policy in New Delhi. She’s the recipient of the Sydney Peace Prize and of the Right Livelihood Award, the alternative Nobel Prize. She is the author of many books, including Water Wars, Earth Democracy, Soil Not Oil, Making Peace with the Earth and Oneness vs. the 1%.
David Suzuki, Professor Emeritus at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, is a leading environmentalist and science educator. Revisiting Peter Daszak, centrally involved in the gain-of-function research that appears to have spawned the SARS CoV2 virus and Covid-19, we note that Daszak has deflected inquiries into his work by calling critics “conspiracy theorists.” ” . . . The ‘media-industrial complex’ includes people in power who vehemently, if irrationally, deny a conspiratorial version of history, automatically mocking anyone who subscribes to it as a ‘conspiracy theorist,’ code words for ‘dangerously deranged fool.’ Uttering the phrase ‘conspiracy theorist’ is used as a convenient way of shutting down conversation on a subject. . . .”
We begin by revisiting the subject of synthesizing viruses in a laboratory. A study released by US National Academy of Sciences at the request of the Department of Defense about the threats of synthetic biology concluded that the techniques to tweak and weaponize viruses from known catalogs of viral sequences is very feasible and relatively easy to do.
In FTR #‘s 1157, 1158 and 1159, we highlighted very disturbing connections between Peter Daszak and his EcoHealth Alliance and the Pentagon and USAID, a State Department subsidiary that serves as a frequent cover for CIA.
The EcoHealth Alliance–financed by USAID–partnered with the Wuhan Institute of Virology and Dr. Ralph Baric of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to research bat-borne coronaviruses. A “chimeric” virus was created by Baric under this program in 2015, and Baric was subsequently selected to create the SARS Cov‑2 virus from scratch.
It is our considered view that the WIV was set up for the blame for Covid-19, in a manner not unlike the “Painting of Oswald Red” discussed in–among other programs–FTR #‘s 925 and 926, as well as our series of interviews with Jim DiEugenio.
We have also noted the profound links between elements of the military and treatment regimens (vaccines and medicines) for Covid-19.
A new article adds further depth to the alarming connections of Daszak, the EcoHealth Alliance and Jeffrey Sachs. (As discussed in a number of programs, including the above-mentioned FTR #‘s 1157, 1158 and 1159, Sachs presided over the Harvard Institute of International Development, a US-funded organization that advised Boris Yeltsin’s disastrous economic policy in Russia.)
Many in Russia view Sachs as “an emissary either of Satan or the CIA.” Recent political incarnations have him as a member of the [Bernie] Sanders Institute and an advisor to AOC…

1:30-2 Black History Month - Fred Gray - Civil Rights Attorney for Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King
Who was the attorney for Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King at the beginning of the Civil Rights movement? Fred Gray, just out of law school, had made a commitment to destroy everything segregated in his home state of Alabama when he was in high school. Rosa Parks was only his second case, after Claudette Colvin, a teenager, who nine months earlier had been the first to refuse to give up her seat on a Montgomery bus and in turn inspired Rosa Park.
When Rosa Parks was arrested in 1955 for violating the segregated seating ordinance, 26-year-old Martin Luther King was chosen to lead the Montgomery Bus Boycott, and 24-year-old Fred Gray also became his and the movement’s lawyer. Gray’s legal victory in the federal courts ended the boycott 381 days later. Fred Gray won scores of civil rights cases in education, voting rights, transportation, and health.He represented the Freedom Riders, the Selma-to-Montgomery marchers, and the victims of the Tuskegee Syphilis Study.
It was a Republican and former employee of the United States Public Health Service, Peter Buxtun, who blew the whistle on the Tuskegee study. Poor black sharecroppers were led to believe they were being treated, while in reality the study recorded the progression of untreated Syphilis. In 2009 Buxtun was the events coordinator for the Republican Roundtable. He invited Fred Gray to speak – and allowed TUC Radio to attend and record the event.
The early history of the civil rights movement comes to life in this story of Fred Gray’s life and education, as speaks for the first time in his life to a Republican audience – at least an audience that told him they were Republican. Fred Gray ends by saying that racism is still alive and even re—emerging in this country and makes an appeal to end it. He said this in 2009.

The term democracy is frequently invoked perhaps never more so than
after the January 6th assault on the Capitol which was almost unanimously described as an attack on democracy. The Ancient Greeks coined the term, demos is people and kratia is power or rule. So ideally, rule of the people. The U.S. is the champion of democracy. But who benefits from a system created by a handful of privileged property and slave-owning white men more than two centuries ago? Concentrated power and wealth undermine and corrode democracy. Never before has there been such inequality as we see today. Even before the pandemic concentrations of income and wealth were astronomical, now it’s much, much worse. We are veering away from democracy toward oligarchy, rule of the few. What are the alternatives?
Angela Davis is one of the iconic figures of this era. Acquitted on conspiracy charges in 1970, after one of the most famous trials in U.S. history, she went on to become an internationally renowned writer, scholar, and lecturer. She is professor emerita at the University of California at Santa Cruz. An eloquent and charismatic speaker, she is much in demand all over the world and draws huge audiences. She’s the author of many books, including Women, Race and Class, Blues Legacies and Black Feminism, Abolition Democracy, and Freedom is a Constant Struggle.
Astra Taylor is a documentary filmmaker, writer, and political organizer. She is the director of What is Democracy? and the author of ‘Democracy May Not Exist, But We’ll Miss It When It’s Gone’ and the American Book Award winning ‘The People’s Platform: Taking Back Power and Culture in the Digital Age.’ She is co-founder of the Debt Collective, a union for debtors, and contributed the foreword to the group’s new book, ‘Can’t Pay, Won’t Pay: The Case for Economic Disobedience and Debt Abolition.’

Children’s Health Defense (CHD) was unaware of the planned protest at the Dodger Stadium vaccination site on Jan. 30, until we learned of it from media reports. We had no advanced warning of this action.
CHD condemns without any reservation any actions, including unlawful activity, to intimidate, coerce, threaten or obstruct people voluntarily seeking to be vaccinated.
We respect the opinions and rights of others. We advocate for vaccine safety based on sound science, and for informed consent, giving individuals the right to accept or refuse vaccination.
“Children’s Health Defense advocates for safe, effective vaccines and the right of every individual to choose whether or not to be vaccinated, based on their own beliefs and on the best science available,” said Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., CHD chairman and chief legal counsel. “Compulsion in all of its guises, and law breaking, are anathema to our core values.”
CHD urges those who care about children’s health to distance themselves from individuals or groups that fail to act peacefully or respectfully toward those who support vaccines. Such actions are not only wrong, they are counterproductive as they allow the pharmaceutical industry and its media and political allies to discredit our movement by attributing the bad behavior of a few to an entire movement distinguished by its disciplined commitment to peace, respect and civil rights.

A noteworthy development in the Covid-19 “op” concerns the selection of experts to oversee The Lancet’s investigation of the origins of the SARS CoV‑2.
In FTR #1156, we looked at the involvement of known U.S. intelligence cut-outs–notably USAID–and their funding of programs ostensibly aimed at preventing epidemics. Those programs involved the “Gain-of-Function” mutation of bat-borne coronaviruses, creating novel “chimeric” viruses that never existed before.
The ostensible purpose was to “prevent” future epidemics. We wondered in FTR #1156 if those ostensible epidemic “prevention” programs may have masked epidemic propagation programs, rather like Unit 731.
Peter Daszak of the EcoHealth Alliance was selected to lead the project.
His perspective would, on the surface, appear to be less than objective, in as much as he championed the very type of GOF experiments that are at the center of this inquiry.
Of interest, as well, is the selection of Jeffrey Sachs, an economist, member of the [Bernie] Sanders Institute, economic adviser to Bernie Sanders, economic adviser to AOC and, most importantly, head of the [partly] government financed Harvard Institute of International Development which (as advisers to Boris Yeltsin) drove the Russian economy back to the Stone Age.
Sachs has no medical or scientific credentials.
A consummately important article about Daszak and the EcoHealth Alliance provides troubling insights into the uneven professional track record of Daszak and the profound involvement of the organization he heads with the Pentagon and other U.S. national security establishment institutions.
EcoHealth Alliance looks disturbingly like an organization that fronts for elements and individuals involved with biological warfare research.

With few exceptions the corporate mainstream media operate within very narrow parameters. In one corner you have MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow and in the other you have Fox’s Sean Hannity. And they do present contrasting views but the boundaries of discussion are limited. Certain topics are taboo, such as U.S. imperialism or really existing capitalism, not the wonders of the free market propaganda we’re bombarded with. Deep institutional structures are never the focus of attention. Here and there people make mistakes and are called out. And tactics and policies are criticized but the overall framework of power remains intact and unchallenged. The corporate mainstream media fulfills its role as a cover for a system that is clearly failing for the many but benefits the few. But there are alternatives to the BS.

1:30-2 Black History Month - Fred Gray - Civil Rights Attorney for Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King
Who was the attorney for Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King at the beginning of the Civil Rights movement? Fred Gray, just out of law school, had made a commitment to destroy everything segregated in his home state of Alabama when he was in high school. Rosa Parks was only his second case, after Claudette Colvin, a teenager, who nine months earlier had been the first to refuse to give up her seat on a Montgomery bus and in turn inspired Rosa Park.
When Rosa Parks was arrested in 1955 for violating the segregated seating ordinance, 26-year-old Martin Luther King was chosen to lead the Montgomery Bus Boycott, and 24-year-old Fred Gray also became his and the movement’s lawyer. Gray’s legal victory in the federal courts ended the boycott 381 days later. Fred Gray won scores of civil rights cases in education, voting rights, transportation, and health.He represented the Freedom Riders, the Selma-to-Montgomery marchers, and the victims of the Tuskegee Syphilis Study.
It was a Republican and former employee of the United States Public Health Service, Peter Buxtun, who blew the whistle on the Tuskegee study. Poor black sharecroppers were led to believe they were being treated, while in reality the study recorded the progression of untreated Syphilis. In 2009 Buxtun was the events coordinator for the Republican Roundtable. He invited Fred Gray to speak – and allowed TUC Radio to attend and record the event.
The early history of the civil rights movement comes to life in this story of Fred Gray’s life and education, as speaks for the first time in his life to a Republican audience – at least an audience that told him they were Republican. Fred Gray ends by saying that racism is still alive and even re—emerging in this country and makes an appeal to end it. He said this in 2009.

The term democracy is frequently invoked perhaps never more so than
after the January 6th assault on the Capitol which was almost unanimously described as an attack on democracy. The Ancient Greeks coined the term, demos is people and kratia is power or rule. So ideally, rule of the people. The U.S. is the champion of democracy. But who benefits from a system created by a handful of privileged property and slave-owning white men more than two centuries ago? Concentrated power and wealth undermine and corrode democracy. Never before has there been such inequality as we see today. Even before the pandemic concentrations of income and wealth were astronomical, now it’s much, much worse. We are veering away from democracy toward oligarchy, rule of the few. What are the alternatives?
Angela Davis is one of the iconic figures of this era. Acquitted on conspiracy charges in 1970, after one of the most famous trials in U.S. history, she went on to become an internationally renowned writer, scholar, and lecturer. She is professor emerita at the University of California at Santa Cruz. An eloquent and charismatic speaker, she is much in demand all over the world and draws huge audiences. She’s the author of many books, including Women, Race and Class, Blues Legacies and Black Feminism, Abolition Democracy, and Freedom is a Constant Struggle.
Astra Taylor is a documentary filmmaker, writer, and political organizer. She is the director of What is Democracy? and the author of ‘Democracy May Not Exist, But We’ll Miss It When It’s Gone’ and the American Book Award winning ‘The People’s Platform: Taking Back Power and Culture in the Digital Age.’ She is co-founder of the Debt Collective, a union for debtors, and contributed the foreword to the group’s new book, ‘Can’t Pay, Won’t Pay: The Case for Economic Disobedience and Debt Abolition.’

Children’s Health Defense (CHD) was unaware of the planned protest at the Dodger Stadium vaccination site on Jan. 30, until we learned of it from media reports. We had no advanced warning of this action.
CHD condemns without any reservation any actions, including unlawful activity, to intimidate, coerce, threaten or obstruct people voluntarily seeking to be vaccinated.
We respect the opinions and rights of others. We advocate for vaccine safety based on sound science, and for informed consent, giving individuals the right to accept or refuse vaccination.
“Children’s Health Defense advocates for safe, effective vaccines and the right of every individual to choose whether or not to be vaccinated, based on their own beliefs and on the best science available,” said Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., CHD chairman and chief legal counsel. “Compulsion in all of its guises, and law breaking, are anathema to our core values.”
CHD urges those who care about children’s health to distance themselves from individuals or groups that fail to act peacefully or respectfully toward those who support vaccines. Such actions are not only wrong, they are counterproductive as they allow the pharmaceutical industry and its media and political allies to discredit our movement by attributing the bad behavior of a few to an entire movement distinguished by its disciplined commitment to peace, respect and civil rights.

A noteworthy development in the Covid-19 “op” concerns the selection of experts to oversee The Lancet’s investigation of the origins of the SARS CoV‑2.
In FTR #1156, we looked at the involvement of known U.S. intelligence cut-outs–notably USAID–and their funding of programs ostensibly aimed at preventing epidemics. Those programs involved the “Gain-of-Function” mutation of bat-borne coronaviruses, creating novel “chimeric” viruses that never existed before.
The ostensible purpose was to “prevent” future epidemics. We wondered in FTR #1156 if those ostensible epidemic “prevention” programs may have masked epidemic propagation programs, rather like Unit 731.
Peter Daszak of the EcoHealth Alliance was selected to lead the project.
His perspective would, on the surface, appear to be less than objective, in as much as he championed the very type of GOF experiments that are at the center of this inquiry.
Of interest, as well, is the selection of Jeffrey Sachs, an economist, member of the [Bernie] Sanders Institute, economic adviser to Bernie Sanders, economic adviser to AOC and, most importantly, head of the [partly] government financed Harvard Institute of International Development which (as advisers to Boris Yeltsin) drove the Russian economy back to the Stone Age.
Sachs has no medical or scientific credentials.
A consummately important article about Daszak and the EcoHealth Alliance provides troubling insights into the uneven professional track record of Daszak and the profound involvement of the organization he heads with the Pentagon and other U.S. national security establishment institutions.
EcoHealth Alliance looks disturbingly like an organization that fronts for elements and individuals involved with biological warfare research.

With few exceptions the corporate mainstream media operate within very narrow parameters. In one corner you have MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow and in the other you have Fox’s Sean Hannity. And they do present contrasting views but the boundaries of discussion are limited. Certain topics are taboo, such as U.S. imperialism or really existing capitalism, not the wonders of the free market propaganda we’re bombarded with. Deep institutional structures are never the focus of attention. Here and there people make mistakes and are called out. And tactics and policies are criticized but the overall framework of power remains intact and unchallenged. The corporate mainstream media fulfills its role as a cover for a system that is clearly failing for the many but benefits the few. But there are alternatives to the BS.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
February 2021 marks the 44th birthday of "Something's Happening!'' The program began 3 days before the birth of our General Manager Anyel. So he missed 3 entire nights!!
44 years adds up to about 20,800 hours of dynamite radio. There are some listeners who have listened to most of those hours and still haven't made a donation to the station!
The current fund drive is expected to continue through the first week in March. But I'm happy to report that Pacifica Foundation has received a PP2 forgivable loan (paycheck protection) of $1.2 million from the government which might be a forgivable if we follow the rules of use. But we have also lost two more staff members: Kevin our Program Director and Christine who has been bringing in about 1 1/2 million dollars a year with her fund drive presentations, which was about 20 times her salary. This raises suspicions about some board members who want to fire everyone and take over control of all station operations with 'volunteers.' (they are all totally bereft of any radio experience). One local board member has suggested organizing a 'militia' to march into all 5 stations and 'kick the mothers out.' She is not supported by a majority, but there is the problem of station income being insufficient, so we are pressing for a $700,000 fund drive total. Anyel, our very highly supported (by the staff) General Manager is also hoping for 5000 new members. This problem is reminiscent of the time in the early 1980's when we actually shut down the station for a couple of weeks due to financial problems. Enough people chipped in during our absence from the air that we were able to reopen. (I had the agonizing job as engineer of pressing the button to turn the station off, but also the happy opportunity to turn it back on). (818) 985-5735, www.kpfk.org.

'Railway to Freedom: Harriet Tubman'
One of a collection of Black created, produced, and acted radio programs which were broadcast from 1948-1950 on WMAQ in Chicago, created by Richard Durham who sought to present non-stereotype Black figures from U.S. History. He worked for no pay. This dramatic program celebrated the lives of Black People from the 1700's through the 1940's, known and unknown, who were revolutionaries, politicians, poets, scientists, musicians, athletes and explorers. It was intensively attacked by white supremacy groups, including the White Knights of Columbus. We will play the Harriet Tubman show who is again set (with a new President) to grace the $20 bill to replace Andrew Jackson. Reasons to Question the Covid-19 Vaccine Narrative
At his moment, hundreds of millions of people worldwide eagerly await the chance to be vaccinated against the SARS-2 virus. They have been given the assurance, through an endless barrage of media reports and commentaries, that these vaccines are safe and will prevent serious infection. We are told they are 95 percent effective, so how can we do much better than that?
However, after examining the documentation that has been made available so far, there are very clear and legitimate challenges to this massive global propaganda campaign. Moreover, now that aggressive efforts are underway by governments and national health ministries for rapid vaccine deployment, we are beginning to receive a steady flow of reports about serious life-threatening injuries and deaths among people already receiving the first of two shots.
The state of California’s head epidemiologist has called for halting the distribution of a specific lot number of Moderna’s vaccine after a series of concerning allergic reactions started occurring in clusters at various inoculation sites. Deaths in Norway after vaccination have risen to 33. Norway is now warning against vaccinating older patients with pre-existing illnesses. Last week a probe by the Paul Ehrlich Institute was launched after 10 elderly Germans died within 4 days of vaccination. Germany is also reporting many other severe side effects including anaphylaxis.

A noteworthy development in the Covid-19 “op” concerns the selection of experts to oversee The Lancet’s investigation of the origins of the SARS CoV‑2.
In FTR #1156, we looked at the involvement of known U.S. intelligence cut-outs–notably USAID–and their funding of programs ostensibly aimed at preventing epidemics. Those programs involved the “Gain-of-Function” mutation of bat-borne coronaviruses, creating novel “chimeric” viruses that never existed before.
The ostensible purpose was to “prevent” future epidemics. We wondered in FTR #1156 if those ostensible epidemic “prevention” programs may have masked epidemic propagation programs, rather like Unit 731.
Peter Daszak of the EcoHealth Alliance was selected to lead the project.
His perspective would, on the surface, appear to be less than objective, in as much as he championed the very type of GOF experiments that are at the center of this inquiry.
Of interest, as well, is the selection of Jeffrey Sachs, an economist, member of the [Bernie] Sanders Institute, economic adviser to Bernie Sanders, economic adviser to AOC and, most importantly, head of the [partly] government financed Harvard Institute of International Development which (as advisers to Boris Yeltsin) drove the Russian economy back to the Stone Age.
Sachs has no medical or scientific credentials.
A consummately important article about Daszak and the EcoHealth Alliance provides troubling insights into the uneven professional track record of Daszak and the profound involvement of the organization he heads with the Pentagon and other U.S. national security establishment institutions.
EcoHealth Alliance looks disturbingly like an organization that fronts for elements and individuals involved with biological warfare research.

One of a collection of Black created, produced, and acted radio programs which were broadcast from 1948-1950 on WMAQ in Chicago, created by Richard Durham who sought to present non-stereotype Black figures from U.S. History. He worked for no pay. This dramatic program celebrated the lives of Black People from the 1700's through the 1940's, known and unknown, who were revolutionaries, politicians, poets, scientists, musicians, athletes and explorers. It was intensively attacked by white supremacy groups, including the White Knights of Columbus.
