On the latest episode of On Contact, investigative journalist Helen Buyniski exposes Jimmy Wales’ egalitarian Wikipedia as yet another tool of the ruling elite. Kabbalah has reached the mainstream, with people from all walks of life studying this formal meditation system from Judaism's mystical path. Yet, when Perle Besserman published the first edition of 'Kabbalah: The Way of the Jewish Mystic' over 30 years ago, fea outsiders had access to the rich lore and practices associated with it. With this audio edition of her landmark work, Besserman shares the Kabbalah 'from mouth to ear' in the oral tradition as it was originally taught almost 1000 years ago. Besserman tells how today's Kabbalists are the direct heirs to a mass movement of everyday mystics stretching back many centuries. She guides listeners through the wonders of the Kabbalah's unique system for oneness with God: the precepts for righteous living; its esoteric view of the universe' and meditation practices, including those for beginners. Kabbalah has long been thought of as 'impenetrable at best.' Now it has been made available to every listener curious about this mystical way of life.
A descendant of the Baal Shem Tov, Perle Besserman has studied Jewish mysticism with Rabbis Zvi Yehuda Kook and Aryeh Kaplan. She has written several books on mysticism, including Kabbalah: The Way of the Jewish Mystic (published under the name Perle Epstein), and is the editor of an anthology in the Shambhala Pocket Classics series, The Way of the Jewish Mystics. She presents workshops on women's spirituality around the United States and in Europe.

Adolf Hitler: “National Socialism . . . . is more even than a religion: it is the will to create man anew.”
In numerous programs, we have touched on eugenics and some of the outcomes of eugenics philosophy, including the growth of the Nazi extermination programs from the Knauer case. Some of these programs are: FTR #’s 32, 117, 124, 140, 141, 534, 664, and 908. A look at future possibilities of eugenics–something that we discuss in this program–are highlighted in FTR #909 and AFA #39.
Important book on the subject include The War Against the Weak, by Edwin Black and The Nazi Connection by Stephan Kuhl. In FTR #1013, we recapped Peter Levenda’s prescient analysis of the overlap between eugenics and fascist iterations of anti-immigrant sentiment. In this broadcast, eugenics, anti-immigration sentiment, genetic engineering and the “immortality-striving” Transhumanist movement are highlighted, noting the progression from the fascism of the 1930’s to imminent steps that would augment the ascension of a truly “superhuman” elite, to the ultimately lethal detriment of the rest of society.
