The five biggest corporations in the world by market value are Google, Apple, Amazon, Microsoft and Facebook. Their head honchos the Zuckerbergs, Gates and Bezos make the Vanderbilts, Morgans and Carnegies
of the Gilded Age look like pikers. These “masters of mankind” as Adam Smith called them, love to pay lip service to competition. But you know what? They want absolute domination and control. Monopoly is not a board game for them, it is the essence of their
very being. And they rely on state power to secure their position. The big five capitalist firms dominate the means of work and social interaction. Collectively, these technopolies represent a tremendous concentration of power both economic and political which
do not bode well for the needs of a democratic society. Their amassing of our data is threatening. What can be done?

Is it starry-eyed to think about not just regime change but something much larger: system change? The systemic failures of the current crisis and the calamitous fissures it has exposed has raised the question
of the efficacy of reform, half-measures and tinkering around the edges. When under duress, the system is agile enough to make some concessions while crucially leaving the fundamental structures of power intact. From the outside systems can look invincible
and impregnable. Just tell that to Louis the XVI in 1789 or the Czar in 1917 or the Shah of Iran in 1979 or Hosni Mubarak in 2011. The noted writer, Ursula LeGuin reminds us, “We live in capitalism. Its power seems inescapable. So did the divine right of kings.
Any human power can be resisted and changed by human beings.”

The sweeping occurrence of CoV19 infections has contributed to a loss of jobs, careers, regular education for our children and has adversely impacted the health of otherwise healthy people. But for tens of
millions of Americans who have lost their health insurance or have not been covered, the situation is more dire. One illness, one infectious disease, could push them over the edge into insolvency and bankruptcy. Now is the opportune time to change course,
bail out all Americans and cease providing taxpayer gifts to Wall Street, the rich and powerful.
The fundamental problem with Obamacare, and the proposed combination of a Green New Deal and Medicare for All, is that both leave the unconscionable profit making in the system. The medical lobbies, insurance
and hospital industries and Big Pharma assure that if you are hospitalized with CoV19 and don't have insurance, you will receive a bill for tens of thousands of dollars. There is no power in the US at this moment that would prevent these private industries
from foregoing a $3.5 trillion windfall profit annually. Therefore the Democrats who claim they want universal healthcare want it only on the condition that the existing system is not upended. Yet that is exactly what is demanded at this moment…

We begin by Introducing the topic of Moderna’s SARS Cov‑2 vaccine as a money maker for both Moderna and as a driver for the market as a whole, we note last Monday’s announcement
which generated a major boost in the value of Moderna’s stock and a strong, general rally. The latter apparently stems from optimism that a sucessful vaccine will alleviate the economic damage from Covid-19.
A MarketWatch piece about the rapid fluctuation of Moderna’s stock underscores the significance of the timing of an announcement casting Moderna’s vaccine trial in overly optimistic light:
1.–Moderna’s CEO (Stephen Bancel) and CFO (Lorence Kim) both sold stock on Friday, in accordance with prearranged transactions.
2.–Kim also simultaneously bought and sold shares of his firm for a net profit of $16.79 million on Monday, the day of an overly optimistic announcement by Moderna. The fortuitously timed Moderna announcement
made the firm’s CFO roughly $4 million: ” . . . .
3.–The above-referenced announcement by Moderna led to a dramatic increase in Moderna’s stock. . . .”
4.–Moderna’s stock nosedived at the end of the trading day on Tuesday, due to a critical article from Stat News: ” . . 5.–Nonetheless, Moderna’s stock–bolstered by government investment–has been on a dramatic
upward swing: ” . . . . The company’s stock was up 3.8% in trading on Wednesday. Year-to-date, it has soared 270.2%, even though the company has no approved products. . . .”
There are serious questions about the substance of Moderna’s statement:
We close the program with a reminder of the extent to which federal funding drives the value of Moderna: ” . . . . ‘Instead of waiting for the data and then scaling up with manufacturing process … we can make
as many doses as we can. We are doing both in parallel,’ he said. The company plans to hire up to 150 people to support the effort. Bancel said the company ‘couldn’t have done this’ without the funding commitment from the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development
Authority, which is part of the Department of Health and Human Services. .

We begin by Introducing the topic of Moderna’s SARS Cov‑2 vaccine as a money maker for both Moderna and as a driver for the market as a whole, we note last Monday’s announcement which generated a major boost in the
value of Moderna’s stock and a strong, general rally. The latter apparently stems from optimism that a sucessful vaccine will alleviate the economic damage from Covid-19.
A MarketWatch piece about the rapid fluctuation of Moderna’s stock underscores the significance of the timing of an announcement casting Moderna’s vaccine trial in overly optimistic light:
1.–Moderna’s CEO (Stephen Bancel) and CFO (Lorence Kim) both sold stock on Friday, in accordance with prearranged transactions.
2.–Kim also simultaneously bought and sold shares of his firm for a net profit of $16.79 million on Monday, the day of an overly optimistic announcement by Moderna. The fortuitously timed Moderna announcement made the firm’s CFO roughly $4 million: ” .

3.–The above-referenced announcement by Moderna led to a dramatic increase in Moderna’s stock. . . .”
4.–Moderna’s stock nosedived at the end of the trading day on Tuesday, due to a critical article from Stat News: ” . . 5.–Nonetheless, Moderna’s stock–bolstered by government investment–has been on a dramatic upward swing: ” . . . . The company’s stock was
up 3.8% in trading on Wednesday. Year-to-date, it has soared 270.2%, even though the company has no approved products. . . .”
There are serious questions about the substance of Moderna’s statement:
We close the program with a reminder of the extent to which federal funding drives the value of Moderna: ” . . . . ‘Instead of waiting for the data and then scaling up with manufacturing process … we can make as many doses as we can. We are doing both in
parallel,’ he said. The company plans to hire up to 150 people to support the effort. Bancel said the company ‘couldn’t have done this’ without the funding commitment from the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority, which is part of the Department
of Health and Human Services. .

Updating our ongoing series of programs concerning the Covid-19 outbreak, we begin with several articles analyzing the political, economic and psycho-social ramifications of the phenomenon.
We have termed the Covid-19 outbreak and its multi-dimensional manifestations, a “bio-psy-op.” Amplifying what is meant by that term:
1.–An academic paper produced by a Federal Reserve economist posits the socio-political effects of the 1918 flu pandemic as a factor contributing to the rise of Nazism in Germany. …
2.–The social dislocation caused by the Great Depression also drove German and world political sentiment to the right, providing additional momentum to global forces of fascism. Current U.S. economic data bring that to mind…
3.–UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres warns that the pandemic has strengthened ethno-nationalism, populism, bigotry and authoritarian rule. Reactionary sentiment driven by the pandemic has also spurred eugenic rationale globally. ” . . . .
4.–An article in The Guardian–citing a source within the Trump administration–compared the Covid-19 political landscape in the U.S. with late Weimar Germany: ” . . . . Welcome to the US in the age of coronavirus. Faces and fists pounded the windows of Ohio’s capitol like a zombie apocalypse. In Michigan, an armed crowd stormed the state house. Then, history repeated itself. . . . A Trump administration insider conveyed that it was all a ‘bit’ reminiscent of the ‘late’ Weimar Republic.. . .
5.–Critical observations by Wolfgang Schauble–the German/EU “Austerity Czar” who wrought so much suffering following the 2008 economic collapse–has clearly enunciated the functional and philosophical essence of “corporatist” and eugenic doctrine. After the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, he has redoubled his “Teutonic brutality” and his views have been embraced by the German establishment: ” . . . .
In FTR #1128, we hypothesized about the possible role in the Covid-19 pandemic of a post-Apartheid, underground fascist milieu with links to elements of CIA and veterans of Project Coast. Those who reject such an hypothesis would do well to consider the musings of an FBI informant knowledgeable about “Die Organisasie.” That such a milieu might be willing to target the U.S. seems probable: ” . . . .
The bulk of the discussion elaborates on discussion of the virus originating in a laboratory–in the U.S., NOT China….
The program concludes with discussion of two articles refuting the “Warren Report” of Covid-19 genesis–a Nature Medicine article that is accepted as Gospel.. . . .”
The notion that the Nature Medicine authors had not heard of the above process is not credible: ” . . . . Such a directed iterative evolutionary selection process is a frequently used method in laboratory research. So there is little or no possibility that the Nature Medicine article authors haven’t heard of it – not least, as it is considered so scientifically important that its inventors were awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2018. . . .”
Worth noting, again, is the British Medical Association’s warning discussed above: ” . . . .The BMA report warns that legitimate research into microbiological agents and genetically targeted therapeutic agents could be difficult to distinguish from research geared towards developing more effective weapons. . . .”
As the GMWatch authors conclude: ” . . . . Such ‘enhanced infectivity’ research is carried out on viruses all over the world (and not just in China) to investigate their behaviour and to develop vaccines and other therapies, as well as for ‘biodefence’ purposes. . . .”

In addition to reviewing and highlighting cogent arguments that the SARS-Cov2 (Covid-19) virus may indeed have been made in a laboratory, the program examines significant aspects of the heretofore puzzling epidemiology of the virus. (We do NOT believe that the virus was synthesized by China, as “Team Trump” is charging.)
First, however, the broadcast sets forth information about the quest for a Covid-19 vaccine.
The makeup of Donald Trump’s “Operation Warp Speed” program to develop a Covid-19 vaccine in record time is alarming. (No vaccine has ever been developed for human use in less than four years.)
“Operation Warp Speed”:
1.–Is headed by Moncef Slaoui, formerly the chairman of Moderna’s product development committee: ” . . . . Dr. Slaoui served on the board of Moderna, a biotechnology company that has an experimental coronavirus vaccine that just entered Phase 2 of clinical trials to determine if it is effective. . . .”
2.–Is seen by Slaoui as promising by Slaoui, who may well be referencing tests on Moderna’s mRNA vaccine: “. . . . Dr. Slaoui, now a venture capitalist, said that he had ‘recently seen early data from a clinical trial with a coronavirus vaccine, and these data made me feel even more confident that we will be able to deliver a few hundred million doses of vaccine’ — enough to inoculate much of the United States — ‘by the end of 2020.’ . . . .”
Note that Moncef Slaoui holds 10 million dollars worth of Moderna stock, which has tripled in value since the Covid-19 outbreak began:” . . . . The former pharma executive tapped by President Donald Trump to lead the federal government’s hunt for a COVID-19 vaccine has more than $10 million in stock options in one of the companies receiving federal funding. . . . Described across four separate filings, Slaoui has 155,438 options in Moderna. The stake is worth $10,366,000 at Moderna’s current share price, $66.69 at the time of publication. Moderna shares have almost tripled in value during 2020. The $66.69 figure represents an increase of 184% from the $23.46 it was trading for on January 1. . . .” (The day the program was recorded, Moderna’s stock increased by 25% in value, and Slaoui announced he would sell his stock.)
In past posts and programs, we have noted the Moderna–one of the companies selected to develop a Covid-19 vaccine, has been substantially underwritten by the Pentagon (DARPA).
Key points of discussion in that regard:
1.–Moderna is using novel vaccine technology using the injection of genetic material to create antibodies. This technology has never been used on human beings. “. . . .
2.–The technology has alarming possible negative side-effects. “. . . . Both DNA and mRNA vaccines involve the introduction of foreign and engineered genetic material into a person’s cells and past studies have found that such vaccines ‘possess significant unpredictability and a number of inherent harmful potential hazards’. . . .”
3.–Looming large in the background of the Moderna vaccine technology is DARPA funding of “gene drive” technology. “. . . . Concerns about Pentagon experiments with biological weapons have garnered renewed media attention, particularly after it was revealed in 2017 that DARPA was the top funder of the controversial ‘gene drive’ technology, which has the power to permanently alter the genetics of entire populations while targeting others for extinction.’ . . . .”
A BBC story from 1999 highlights the fears of experts that the advent of such technology could enable the development of ethno-specific biological weapons: ” . . . . Advances in genetic knowledge could be misused to develop powerful biological weapons that could be tailored to strike at specific ethnic groups, the British Medical Association has warned.. . . .”

12-1 Dave Emory, ‘’For the Record #1129, Bio-Psy-Op Apocalypse Now, Part 5: The Magic Virus Theory, Part 2’
Updating our ongoing series of programs concerning the Covid-19 outbreak, we begin with several articles analyzing the political, economic and psycho-social ramifications of the phenomenon.
We have termed the Covid-19 outbreak and its multi-dimensional manifestations, a “bio-psy-op.” Amplifying what is meant by that term:
1.–An academic paper produced by a Federal Reserve economist posits the socio-political effects of the 1918 flu pandemic as a factor contributing to the rise of Nazism in Germany. …
2.–The social dislocation caused by the Great Depression also drove German and world political sentiment to the right, providing additional momentum to global forces of fascism. Current U.S. economic data bring that to mind…
3.–UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres warns that the pandemic has strengthened ethno-nationalism, populism, bigotry and authoritarian rule. Reactionary sentiment driven by the pandemic has also spurred eugenic rationale globally. ” . . . .
4.–An article in The Guardian–citing a source within the Trump administration–compared the Covid-19 political landscape in the U.S. with late Weimar Germany: ” . . . . Welcome to the US in the age of coronavirus. Faces and fists pounded the windows of Ohio’s capitol like a zombie apocalypse. In Michigan, an armed crowd stormed the state house. Then, history repeated itself. . . . A Trump administration insider conveyed that it was all a ‘bit’ reminiscent of the ‘late’ Weimar Republic.. . .
5.–Critical observations by Wolfgang Schauble–the German/EU “Austerity Czar” who wrought so much suffering following the 2008 economic collapse–has clearly enunciated the functional and philosophical essence of “corporatist” and eugenic doctrine. After the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, he has redoubled his “Teutonic brutality” and his views have been embraced by the German establishment: ” . . . .
In FTR #1128, we hypothesized about the possible role in the Covid-19 pandemic of a post-Apartheid, underground fascist milieu with links to elements of CIA and veterans of Project Coast. Those who reject such an hypothesis would do well to consider the musings of an FBI informant knowledgeable about “Die Organisasie.” That such a milieu might be willing to target the U.S. seems probable: ” . . . .
The bulk of the discussion elaborates on discussion of the virus originating in a laboratory–in the U.S., NOT China….
The program concludes with discussion of two articles refuting the “Warren Report” of Covid-19 genesis–a Nature Medicine article that is accepted as Gospel.. . . .”
The notion that the Nature Medicine authors had not heard of the above process is not credible: ” . . . . Such a directed iterative evolutionary selection process is a frequently used method in laboratory research. So there is little or no possibility that the Nature Medicine article authors haven’t heard of it – not least, as it is considered so scientifically important that its inventors were awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2018. . . .”
Worth noting, again, is the British Medical Association’s warning discussed above: ” . . . .The BMA report warns that legitimate research into microbiological agents and genetically targeted therapeutic agents could be difficult to distinguish from research geared towards developing more effective weapons. . . .”
As the GMWatch authors conclude: ” . . . . Such ‘enhanced infectivity’ research is carried out on viruses all over the world (and not just in China) to investigate their behaviour and to develop vaccines and other therapies, as well as for ‘biodefence’ purposes. . . .”

In addition to reviewing and highlighting cogent arguments that the SARS-Cov2 (Covid-19) virus may indeed have been made in a laboratory, the program examines significant aspects of the heretofore puzzling epidemiology of the virus. (We do NOT believe that the virus was synthesized by China, as “Team Trump” is charging.)
First, however, the broadcast sets forth information about the quest for a Covid-19 vaccine.
The makeup of Donald Trump’s “Operation Warp Speed” program to develop a Covid-19 vaccine in record time is alarming. (No vaccine has ever been developed for human use in less than four years.)
“Operation Warp Speed”:
1.–Is headed by Moncef Slaoui, formerly the chairman of Moderna’s product development committee: ” . . . . Dr. Slaoui served on the board of Moderna, a biotechnology company that has an experimental coronavirus vaccine that just entered Phase 2 of clinical trials to determine if it is effective. . . .”
2.–Is seen by Slaoui as promising by Slaoui, who may well be referencing tests on Moderna’s mRNA vaccine: “. . . . Dr. Slaoui, now a venture capitalist, said that he had ‘recently seen early data from a clinical trial with a coronavirus vaccine, and these data made me feel even more confident that we will be able to deliver a few hundred million doses of vaccine’ — enough to inoculate much of the United States — ‘by the end of 2020.’ . . . .”
Note that Moncef Slaoui holds 10 million dollars worth of Moderna stock, which has tripled in value since the Covid-19 outbreak began:” . . . . The former pharma executive tapped by President Donald Trump to lead the federal government’s hunt for a COVID-19 vaccine has more than $10 million in stock options in one of the companies receiving federal funding. . . . Described across four separate filings, Slaoui has 155,438 options in Moderna. The stake is worth $10,366,000 at Moderna’s current share price, $66.69 at the time of publication. Moderna shares have almost tripled in value during 2020. The $66.69 figure represents an increase of 184% from the $23.46 it was trading for on January 1. . . .” (The day the program was recorded, Moderna’s stock increased by 25% in value, and Slaoui announced he would sell his stock.)
In past posts and programs, we have noted the Moderna–one of the companies selected to develop a Covid-19 vaccine, has been substantially underwritten by the Pentagon (DARPA).
Key points of discussion in that regard:
1.–Moderna is using novel vaccine technology using the injection of genetic material to create antibodies. This technology has never been used on human beings. “. . . .
2.–The technology has alarming possible negative side-effects. “. . . . Both DNA and mRNA vaccines involve the introduction of foreign and engineered genetic material into a person’s cells and past studies have found that such vaccines ‘possess significant unpredictability and a number of inherent harmful potential hazards’. . . .”
3.–Looming large in the background of the Moderna vaccine technology is DARPA funding of “gene drive” technology. “. . . . Concerns about Pentagon experiments with biological weapons have garnered renewed media attention, particularly after it was revealed in 2017 that DARPA was the top funder of the controversial ‘gene drive’ technology, which has the power to permanently alter the genetics of entire populations while targeting others for extinction.’ . . . .”
A BBC story from 1999 highlights the fears of experts that the advent of such technology could enable the development of ethno-specific biological weapons: ” . . . . Advances in genetic knowledge could be misused to develop powerful biological weapons that could be tailored to strike at specific ethnic groups, the British Medical Association has warned.. . . .”
We highlight information presented in FTR #1129, for purposes of emphasizing the flimsy nature of the argument presented in a paper from Nature Medicine…
Two telling, thoughtful, substantive critiques of the Nature Medicine article shed light on the flimsy nature of its arguments.
It would not be unfair to characterize the article as “The Warren Report” of the Covid-19 pandemic…
We close the program with a reminder of the extent to which federal funding drives the value of Moderna: ” . . . . ‘Instead of waiting for the data and then scaling up with manufacturing process … we can make as many doses as we can. We are doing both in parallel,’ he said. The company plans to hire up to 150 people to support the effort. Bancel said the company ‘couldn’t have done this’ without the funding commitment from the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority, which is part of the Department of Health and Human Services. . . .”

BEHIND THE SCENES
The quiet fund drive ends July 1, resulting in pledge income approximately 1/2 of a regular fund drive - so plans are being made. We have received some help from the government's PPP program for salary income which helps a great deal for a couple of months. Some people in our administrative structure are still pressing for elimination of all paid programmers to cut expenses - but only 5 programmers are paid, out of approximately 99, and all 5 bring in greater amount of pledges than their salaries, which are low while the work load is high. Other helpers feel we should fire ALL the staff and run the station by all volunteers - which ignores the fact that most of the jobs at the station are difficult, complex, time consuming, require expertise and are not-at-all exciting or romantic - just hard work. This recalls in my mind the letter on the desk of a previous manager which was from Mount Wilson directors to please immediately remove all our stuff (transmitter and tower) from Mt. Wilson for another user -- their earlier letters to renew using our 'stuff' (free) were ignored. Another brilliant idea is to cut our large electricity bill by shutting down the transmitter at midnight until 6am as in the olden days of KPFK.

1:45-3 Greta Thunberg, “Humanity Has Not Yet Failed”
In a speech presented on Sveriges Radio, in both Swedish and English versions, Greta Thunberg talks for over an hour on her experiences over the last year, her travels in North America, and the world’s response to COVID-19. It is calm, eloquent, and devastating.
Like a modern de Tocqueville, she talks about the sailing trips, her reception in New York, speaking at the UN, meeting politicians in Washington, burned forests, oil refineries, the Paradise fire in California, Davos, and a planned trip to China.
Her disgust at modern North American society comes through loud and clear. A visit with Nancy Pelosi is particularly awkward. Greta and several young people, including many Native Americans, are ushered into the meeting. A large portrait of Abraham Lincoln hangs on the wall. Greta recounts what happened next:
“It is as if two entirely different worlds collide. Worlds separated by hundreds of years of injustices, structural and systematic racism, oppression, and genocide. At last a young activist asks to speak. Her name is Tokata Iron Eyes and she lives in Pine Ridge, an Indian reservation in South Dakota. It is one of the poorest and most socially vulnerable communities in the entire United States.
‘How do you think it feels for us to sit here in this room with that man looking down from that painting?’ Speaker Pelosi apologizes if anyone has been offended, but says that he was a great man who has meant so much for the country. ‘He wanted my people dead,’ Tokata says. ‘He was responsible for the biggest mass execution in US history. It was innocent people from the Lakota Nation. To sit here in this room, with that painting, is so difficult.’
Since the entire trip across North America was by car (a Tesla loaned by Arnold Schwartzenegger) , they got a good look at everyday life, including the endless shopping malls, the oil wells in California and Alberta, the difficulty of finding vegan food on the road, the empty factories, the poor living conditions in some areas, the dying forests, the receding glaciers.
“The emperors are naked. Every single one. It turns out our whole society is just one big nudist party.”

12-12:30 Reclaiming Native American History: The Yuki of Thule Valley

The events of 2020, the toppling of statues and discoveries of hidden history reminded me of events in early 2000 – soon after I moved my radio production and micro power transmitter to Mendocino County.
The State Historic Marker at the entrance to the Round Valley Indian Reservation in Northern CA read: “This valley was discovered by Frank M. Asbill arriving from Eden Valley, on May 15, 1854. During the same year, Charles Kelsey from Clear Lake also visited it, and George E White sighted it from Blue Nose” There is another account of the history of that day that is undisputed fact but forgotten. On May 15, 1854, the Yuki, inhabitants of the valley for over 12000 years, discovered six white men on their land. Led by Pierce Asbill the men opened fire and killed 40 of them. The Asbills returned a year later and captured 35 Yuki women and sold them as slaves to gold miners...
In the Spring of 2000 an effort was begun to rewrite the language on the Marker and officially re-cast the bronze plaque.
On March 21, 2002, California Registered Historical Landmark No. 674 was replaced with this:
“The first inhabitants of Round Valley were the Yuki who resided here for thousands of years in harmony with their natural surroundings. In 1854, European settlers entered the valley. In 1856, conflicts between settlers and Yuki escalated and to protect local tribes the entire watershed was designated a reservation. Additional tribes were subsequently forced on the property: Nomlacki, Wylaki, Lassik, Sinkyone, Pomo (including Cahto, Kabeyo, Shodakai, Yokayo, Shokawa, Shanel, Kashaya, and Habenapo among others), Wappo, Concow Maidu, Colusa, and Achumawi. In 1864, the government reduced the reservation by four-fifths, to its current size.”
And even this improvement leaves more opportunities for the future.

'The Peoples Advocate,' the autobiography of American Constitutional Trial Attorney Daniel Sheehan. Sheehan traces his personal journey from his working-class roots through Harvard Law School and his initial career in private practice. His early disenchantment led to his return for further study at Harvard Divinity School, and rethinking the nature of his career. Eventually his role as President and Chief Trial Counselor for the famous Washington, DC-based Christic Institute would help define his role as America's preeminent cause lawyer.
In 'The Peoples Advocate,' Sheehan details "the inside story" of over a dozen historically significant American legal cases of the 20th Century, all of which he litigated. The remarkable cases covered in the book include both The Pentagon Papers Case in 1971 and The Watergate Burglary Case in 1973. In addition, Sheehan served as the Chief Attorney on The Karen Silkwood Case in 1976, which revealed the CIA's Israeli Desk had been smuggling 98% bomb-grade plutonium to the State of Israel and to Iran. In 1984, he was the Chief Trial Counsel on The American Sanctuary Movement Case, establishing the right of American church workers to provide assistance to Central American political refugees fleeing Guatemalan and Salvadorian "death squads." His involvement with the sanctuary movement ultimately led to Sheehan's famous Iran/Contra Federal Civil Racketeering Case against the Reagan/Bush Administration, which he investigated, initiated, filed, and then litigated. The resulting "Iran/Contra Scandal" nearly brought down that Administration, leading Congress to consider the impeachment of over a dozen of the top-ranking officials of the Reagan/Bush Administration.
The Peoples Advocate is the "real story" of these and many other historic American cases, told from the unique point of view of a central lawyer.

On June 6, 2019 Joanna Macy, the environmental activist, author, scholar of Buddhism and Deep Ecology was one of two keynote speakers at The New School at Commonweal's Resilience Project in Bolinas, California. A longtime San Francisco/Bay Area resident - she had just celebrated her 90th birthday.
The question, that the participants at the Commonweal event had come to explore, was: Is resilience a possible response in the face of climate change and civilizational collapse. And what might resilience look like.
Joanna Macy gave a personal and movingly psychological/philosophical talk, led a brief exercise in Open Questioning and closed with generous credits to writers and their ideas that are helpful in navigating and intervening in the collapsing civilization around us.

Dr. Michael Osterholm had told USA Today earlier this year: 'We're just in the second inning of a nine-inning game' That's why members of the Midway Chamber of Commerce in Minnesota met with him on line on June 12, 2020. He gave an update and they asked him questions.
Dr. Osterholm holds many titles and functions at the University of Minnesota, among them Regents Professor in Public Health, and he is director of the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy (CIDRAP). They work to prevent illness and death from infectious disease. CIDRAP translates scientific information into real-world, practical applications, policies, and solutions.
Osterholm is the author of the 2017 book, ''Deadliest Enemy - Our War Against Killer Germs.'' He not only details the most pressing infectious disease threats of our day but, most importantly, lays out a nine-point strategy on how to address them. Preventing a global flu pandemic is at the top of the list.

Society's Crisis Goes Deeper than Bad Police

Growing up in the small West Virginian city of Parkersburg was like living in peaceful times where everyone knew their neighbors. The police did not wear bullet proof vests, carry semi-automatic weapons and taser guns, or bring in armored vehicles when there were social disturbances. There were no SWAT teams breaking doors nor racial profiling through Stop and Frisk policies. People prided themselves in knowing there was a police officer living in their neighborhood. We all attended the same schools. The only segregated street historically for the Black community was called Sumner Street.
Yet all of that changed after the Second World War. In 1950, my best friend Tony Bartlett was an African American neighbor who lived down the street. If there was any racism, it was silent and hidden. However, I was just a kid, too young to appreciate the African American experience of systemic and repressive racism.
What I did know was that the police force could assure law and order without ever unholstering their guns. My godfather was Russell Mawry who was the police chief. He said that for the majority of non violent crimes there was no need for heavy-handed tactics. Rather these were misdemeanors due to poor judgment by neighbors and could be handled peacefully.

We begin a series of programs highlighting various aspects of the "three-dimensional chess" aspect of the Covid-19 "bio-psy-op" we feel is underway. Actually six or seven dimensional chess might be a better way of expressing this analytical concept.
It is of paramount importance for listeners/readers to understand that the conceptual breakdown is for cognitive clarity only. The bio-psy-op" is multi-dimensional in its entirety and must be understood to be a type of "fascist/totalitarian lasagna" with many layers to be consumed.
In this program, we present ways in which the Covid-19 outbreak is subverting democracy, both inside and outside of the United States.
Although he has only flirted with exercising them, to date, Trump does indeed have some emergency powers that can be invoked to further his agenda" " . . . . The most notable aspect of presidential emergency action documents might be their extreme secrecy. It's not uncommon for the government to classify its plans or activities in the area of national security. . . . By contrast, we know of no evidence that the executive branch has ever consulted with Congress - or even informed any of its members - regarding the contents of presidential emergency action documents. . . .
Next, we add that the Bio-Psy-Op Apocalypse is spawning totalitarian manifestations-not surprisingly-at the Department of Justice headed by "ex" CIA officer William Barr. " . . . . The request raised eyebrows because of its potential implications for habeas corpus - the constitutional right to appear before a judge after arrest and seek release' . . ."
The military's contingency plans have been partially activated: " . . . . While being hit with coronavirus at rates equivalent to the civilian population, the U.S. military has activated its 'defense support of civil authorities' apparatus, establishing liaisons in all 50 states, activating units and command posts, and moving forces to provide medical, transportation, logistics, and communications support in New York and Washington states.. . . ."
Privacy is being dramatically curtailed under cover of combatting the virus: " . . . . As Thomas Gaulkin of the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists noted earlier this month, many Americans- often fierce in their objections to perceived government overreach into their lives-might normally object to dystopian images of flying robots policing lockdowns. But these, of course, are not normal times. 'If drones do begin to hover over U.S. streets to help control this pandemic,' Gaulkin wrote, 'it will be yet another visible reminder that we've entered a public health Twilight Zone where Americans have no better option than to embrace what was once only imaginable, and never real.' . . . "
The alpha predator of the electronic surveillance landscape is Peter Thiel's Palantir. They have landed two key government contracts in connection with the Covid-19 outbreak:" . . . . Palantir, the $20 billion-valued Palo Alto tech company backed by Facebook-funder Peter Thiel, has been handed a $17.3 million contract with one of the leading health bodies leading the charge against COVID-19. It's the biggest contract handed to a Silicon Valley company to assist America's COVID-19 response, according to Forbes' review of public contracts, and comes as other Californian giants like Apple and Google try to figure out how best to help governments fight the deadly virus. . . .
Exemplifying the multi-dimensional chess scenario in connection with the "bio-psy-op" is the GOP's plan to use the Covid-19 outbreak to scapegoat China and tar the Democrats and Joe Biden with the same brush. Of particular note in this regard is the Steve Bannon-J. Kyle Bass-Tommy Hicks, Jr. triumvirate discussed in-among other programs-FTR #'s 1111 and 1112.
Exemplary, as well, of the bio-psy-op as synthesis of covert operation and political crusading is the GOP's cynical manipulation of emergency appropriations to achieve their longstanding objective of crippling state and local governments, as well as driving the Postal Service into bankruptcy. Privatizing postal service has been a right-wing/GOP objective for a long time. " . . . . Everyone, and I mean everyone, knows what is really happening: McConnell is trying to get more money for businesses while continuing to shortchange state and local governments. After all, "starve the beast" - forcing governments to cut services by depriving them of resources - has been Republican strategy for decades. This is just more of the same. . . . Oh, and Trump personally has ruled out aid for the Postal Service. . . ."

This program examines one of the multi-layered effects of the Covid-19 "bio-psy-op." We stress that the demarcation of these layers is for cognitive purposes-to enhance understanding. The layers are part of a unified whole.
In this broadcast, we focus on the eugenic effects of the virus. We have covered eugenics in many broadcasts over the decades. A few of those: FTR #'s 1075, 1029, 908, 909, 32, 1013. FTR #1013 is of particular importance, as Trump has used the Covid-19 outbreak to halt immigration into the U.S.
Before delving into the eugenics manifestations of the Covid-19 outbreak, we highlight some of the recent developments in the pandemic:
1.-A recent report, based on random testing, indicated that up to one fifth of New Yorkers may have been infected by the virus. If accurate, this is an important piece of information, indicating that, from an epidemiological standpoint, the virus did NOT originate in China.
2.-We strongly suspect that New York was deliberately vectored by fascist elements associated with the Trump administration at one level, and the Underground Reich at another. This methodology would not be unprecedented: ". . . . In the summer of 1966, Special Operations men walked into three New York City subway stations and tossed lightbulbs filled with Bacillus subtilis, a benign bacteria, onto the tracks. The subway trains pushed the germs through the entire system and theoretically killed over a million passengers. . . ."
3.-We note increased finger-pointing at, scapegoating of, China for the pandemic, on the part of Britain, Germany and France, in addition to Trump and elements of the intelligence community: " . . . .Washington is simultaneously spreading deliberate rumors that the virus could have originated in a Chinese laboratory. Whereas, scientists vehemently refute the allegations, German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas declared, he 'does not want to exclude' that the WHO will have to deal with these issues. On Monday, Chancellor Angela Merkel called on Beijing to show 'transparency' on the issue. . . . At the same time deliberate rumors are being spread in the United States that the Covid-19 virus could have originated in a Chinese laboratory - possibly in bioweapons lab. The US government indicated that it does not rule out this possibility;...
4.-We also note a disturbing aspect of the symptoms of a cross-vectored, genetically-engineered virus that is the precipitating event for the Nazi takover in the US in Serpent's Walk: " . . . first, and just as harmless by itself. It reacts with Pacov-1 to produce a powerful coagulant. . . . you die within three minutes. . . ."
5.-The coagulating pathology produced by Pacov-1 and Pacov-2 in Serpent's Walk is unnervingly similar to one of the many symptoms of Covid-19 infection: " . . . .
Doctors in hot spots across the globe have begun to report an unexpected prevalence of blood clotting among COVID cases, in what could pose a perfect storm of potentially fatal risk factors. . . . . .
Eugenics, in its practice, might best be described as a pseudo-scientific doctrine attributing features of racial, ethnic and socio-economic prejudice to empirical scientific fact. " . . . Eugenics is a set of beliefs and practices that aim to improve the genetic quality of a human population,[4][5] typically by excluding people and groups judged to be inferior, and promoting those judged to be superior. . . .
Discussion of the eugenic aspects of the Covid-19 phenomenon include:
1.-De facto rationing of health care during the pandemic in such a way as to potentially lethally discriminate against those with disabilities.
2.-Infection and death rates disproportionately high among populations enduring the economic and physiological affliction deriving from prejudice and social darwinistic doctrine: African-Americans, people who work in low-paying jobs that require close human contact and living in conditions that do not permit social distancing.
3.-The economically degrading effect of GOP fiscal policy with regard to public transportation during the pandemic.
4.-New York City has been stigmatized during the pandemic, as has New York State. With large Jewish, African-American and Latino populations, a tradition of liberal politics, generous municipal union contracts, a free city university program, New York has long been viewed as "Jew York City" by fascist elements. Governors, as well as Trump himself, have proposed quarantining New York City and New Jersey. This further underscores the above speculation concerning the rate of infection in New York City. " . . . . As President Trump put it in his short-lived bid to 'QUARANTINE' New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, 'Some people would like to see New York quarantined because it's a hot spot' - the implication being that if New Yorkers could only be kept where they are, with checkpoints and guards if need be, Covid-19 could be stopped from spreading elsewhere in the country. Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida set up checkpoints to stop cars with New York or Louisiana license plates, so that state troopers can warn drivers to self-quarantine or face 60 days in jail - even as he hesitated to put any social distancing in place or close the beaches for spring break. Instead of admitting the danger of community spread in Florida, the governor framed the problem as one of outsiders bringing germs in. Governors in Maryland and other states warned anyone arriving from the New York City area to isolate themselves. On Twitter, Covid-19 has taken on a new sobriquet: the 'Cuomovirus.' . . ."
Critical observations by Wolfgang Schauble, the German/EU "Austerity Czar" who wrought so much suffering following the 2008 economic collapse has clearly enunciated the functional and philosophical essence of "corporatist" and eugenic doctrine.
This, too, is reflected in the Trumpian "LIBERATE MICHIGAN etc."
Some background on Schauble's outlook: " . . . . Hardly a German government representative is more notorious than Wolfgang Schäuble - worldwide. During the international financial crisis, when Schäuble was Germany's Minister of Finance, his EU counterparts trembled: Schäuble wanted to force them to adapt harsh austerity measures. Because the foreseeable social consequences would cost lives, Schäuble's tactics seemed to scare Europe with 'traumatic effects' and gave it a lesson in German economic ethics: Teutonic brutality and at all costs. 'Terrifying,' was the assessment the US Treasury Secretary made following his conversation with Schäuble. Paris and Madrid were also apprehensive; Athens called Schäuble an 'arsonist,' on a rampage through Europe. Schäuble has since climbed higher on the government ladder. Schäuble now ranks second, after the President, in the Federal Republic of Germany's protocolary system. . . . ."

'The Peoples Advocate,' the autobiography of American Constitutional Trial Attorney Daniel Sheehan. Sheehan traces his personal journey from his working-class roots through Harvard Law School and his initial career in private practice. His early disenchantment led to his return for further study at Harvard Divinity School, and rethinking the nature of his career. Eventually his role as President and Chief Trial Counselor for the famous Washington, DC-based Christic Institute would help define his role as America's preeminent cause lawyer.
In 'The Peoples Advocate,' Sheehan details "the inside story" of over a dozen historically significant American legal cases of the 20th Century, all of which he litigated. The remarkable cases covered in the book include both The Pentagon Papers Case in 1971 and The Watergate Burglary Case in 1973. In addition, Sheehan served as the Chief Attorney on The Karen Silkwood Case in 1976, which revealed the CIA's Israeli Desk had been smuggling 98% bomb-grade plutonium to the State of Israel and to Iran. In 1984, he was the Chief Trial Counsel on The American Sanctuary Movement Case, establishing the right of American church workers to provide assistance to Central American political refugees fleeing Guatemalan and Salvadorian "death squads." His involvement with the sanctuary movement ultimately led to Sheehan's famous Iran/Contra Federal Civil Racketeering Case against the Reagan/Bush Administration, which he investigated, initiated, filed, and then litigated. The resulting "Iran/Contra Scandal" nearly brought down that Administration, leading Congress to consider the impeachment of over a dozen of the top-ranking officials of the Reagan/Bush Administration.
The Peoples Advocate is the "real story" of these and many other historic American cases, told from the unique point of view of a central lawyer.

Dr. Michael Osterholm had told USA Today earlier this year: 'We're just in the second inning of a nine-inning game' That's why members of the Midway Chamber of Commerce in Minnesota met with him on line on June 12, 2020. He gave an update and they asked him questions.
Dr. Osterholm holds many titles and functions at the University of Minnesota, among them Regents Professor in Public Health, and he is director of the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy (CIDRAP). They work to prevent illness and death from infectious disease. CIDRAP translates scientific information into real-world, practical applications, policies, and solutions.
Osterholm is the author of the 2017 book, ''Deadliest Enemy - Our War Against Killer Germs.'' He not only details the most pressing infectious disease threats of our day but, most importantly, lays out a nine-point strategy on how to address them. Preventing a global flu pandemic is at the top of the list.

Society's Crisis Goes Deeper than Bad Police

Growing up in the small West Virginian city of Parkersburg was like living in peaceful times where everyone knew their neighbors. The police did not wear bullet proof vests, carry semi-automatic weapons and taser guns, or bring in armored vehicles when there were social disturbances. There were no SWAT teams breaking doors nor racial profiling through Stop and Frisk policies. People prided themselves in knowing there was a police officer living in their neighborhood. We all attended the same schools. The only segregated street historically for the Black community was called Sumner Street.
Yet all of that changed after the Second World War. In 1950, my best friend Tony Bartlett was an African American neighbor who lived down the street. If there was any racism, it was silent and hidden. However, I was just a kid, too young to appreciate the African American experience of systemic and repressive racism.
What I did know was that the police force could assure law and order without ever unholstering their guns. My godfather was Russell Mawry who was the police chief. He said that for the majority of non violent crimes there was no need for heavy-handed tactics. Rather these were misdemeanors due to poor judgment by neighbors and could be handled peacefully.

12-1 Dave Emory, ''For The Record #1126 - Bio-Psy-Op Apocalypse Now, Part 2: The Democracy-Killing Virus''
We begin a series of programs highlighting various aspects of the "three-dimensional chess" aspect of the Covid-19 "bio-psy-op" we feel is underway. Actually six or seven dimensional chess might be a better way of expressing this analytical concept.
It is of paramount importance for listeners/readers to understand that the conceptual breakdown is for cognitive clarity only. The bio-psy-op" is multi-dimensional in its entirety and must be understood to be a type of "fascist/totalitarian lasagna" with many layers to be consumed.
In this program, we present ways in which the Covid-19 outbreak is subverting democracy, both inside and outside of the United States.
Although he has only flirted with exercising them, to date, Trump does indeed have some emergency powers that can be invoked to further his agenda" " . . . . The most notable aspect of presidential emergency action documents might be their extreme secrecy. It's not uncommon for the government to classify its plans or activities in the area of national security. . . . By contrast, we know of no evidence that the executive branch has ever consulted with Congress - or even informed any of its members - regarding the contents of presidential emergency action documents. . . .
Next, we add that the Bio-Psy-Op Apocalypse is spawning totalitarian manifestations-not surprisingly-at the Department of Justice headed by "ex" CIA officer William Barr. " . . . . The request raised eyebrows because of its potential implications for habeas corpus - the constitutional right to appear before a judge after arrest and seek release' . . ."
The military's contingency plans have been partially activated: " . . . . While being hit with coronavirus at rates equivalent to the civilian population, the U.S. military has activated its 'defense support of civil authorities' apparatus, establishing liaisons in all 50 states, activating units and command posts, and moving forces to provide medical, transportation, logistics, and communications support in New York and Washington states.. . . ."
Privacy is being dramatically curtailed under cover of combatting the virus: " . . . . As Thomas Gaulkin of the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists noted earlier this month, many Americans- often fierce in their objections to perceived government overreach into their lives-might normally object to dystopian images of flying robots policing lockdowns. But these, of course, are not normal times. 'If drones do begin to hover over U.S. streets to help control this pandemic,' Gaulkin wrote, 'it will be yet another visible reminder that we've entered a public health Twilight Zone where Americans have no better option than to embrace what was once only imaginable, and never real.' . . . "
The alpha predator of the electronic surveillance landscape is Peter Thiel's Palantir. They have landed two key government contracts in connection with the Covid-19 outbreak:" . . . . Palantir, the $20 billion-valued Palo Alto tech company backed by Facebook-funder Peter Thiel, has been handed a $17.3 million contract with one of the leading health bodies leading the charge against COVID-19. It's the biggest contract handed to a Silicon Valley company to assist America's COVID-19 response, according to Forbes' review of public contracts, and comes as other Californian giants like Apple and Google try to figure out how best to help governments fight the deadly virus. . . .
Exemplifying the multi-dimensional chess scenario in connection with the "bio-psy-op" is the GOP's plan to use the Covid-19 outbreak to scapegoat China and tar the Democrats and Joe Biden with the same brush. Of particular note in this regard is the Steve Bannon-J. Kyle Bass-Tommy Hicks, Jr. triumvirate discussed in-among other programs-FTR #'s 1111 and 1112.
Exemplary, as well, of the bio-psy-op as synthesis of covert operation and political crusading is the GOP's cynical manipulation of emergency appropriations to achieve their longstanding objective of crippling state and local governments, as well as driving the Postal Service into bankruptcy. Privatizing postal service has been a right-wing/GOP objective for a long time. " . . . . Everyone, and I mean everyone, knows what is really happening: McConnell is trying to get more money for businesses while continuing to shortchange state and local governments. After all, "starve the beast" - forcing governments to cut services by depriving them of resources - has been Republican strategy for decades. This is just more of the same. . . . Oh, and Trump personally has ruled out aid for the Postal Service. . . ."

This program examines one of the multi-layered effects of the Covid-19 "bio-psy-op." We stress that the demarcation of these layers is for cognitive purposes-to enhance understanding. The layers are part of a unified whole.
In this broadcast, we focus on the eugenic effects of the virus. We have covered eugenics in many broadcasts over the decades. A few of those: FTR #'s 1075, 1029, 908, 909, 32, 1013. FTR #1013 is of particular importance, as Trump has used the Covid-19 outbreak to halt immigration into the U.S.
Before delving into the eugenics manifestations of the Covid-19 outbreak, we highlight some of the recent developments in the pandemic:
1.-A recent report, based on random testing, indicated that up to one fifth of New Yorkers may have been infected by the virus. If accurate, this is an important piece of information, indicating that, from an epidemiological standpoint, the virus did NOT originate in China.
2.-We strongly suspect that New York was deliberately vectored by fascist elements associated with the Trump administration at one level, and the Underground Reich at another. This methodology would not be unprecedented: ". . . . In the summer of 1966, Special Operations men walked into three New York City subway stations and tossed lightbulbs filled with Bacillus subtilis, a benign bacteria, onto the tracks. The subway trains pushed the germs through the entire system and theoretically killed over a million passengers. . . ."
3.-We note increased finger-pointing at, scapegoating of, China for the pandemic, on the part of Britain, Germany and France, in addition to Trump and elements of the intelligence community: " . . . .Washington is simultaneously spreading deliberate rumors that the virus could have originated in a Chinese laboratory. Whereas, scientists vehemently refute the allegations, German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas declared, he 'does not want to exclude' that the WHO will have to deal with these issues. On Monday, Chancellor Angela Merkel called on Beijing to show 'transparency' on the issue. . . . At the same time deliberate rumors are being spread in the United States that the Covid-19 virus could have originated in a Chinese laboratory - possibly in bioweapons lab. The US government indicated that it does not rule out this possibility;...
4.-We also note a disturbing aspect of the symptoms of a cross-vectored, genetically-engineered virus that is the precipitating event for the Nazi takover in the US in Serpent's Walk: " . . . first, and just as harmless by itself. It reacts with Pacov-1 to produce a powerful coagulant. . . . you die within three minutes. . . ."
5.-The coagulating pathology produced by Pacov-1 and Pacov-2 in Serpent's Walk is unnervingly similar to one of the many symptoms of Covid-19 infection: " . . . .
Doctors in hot spots across the globe have begun to report an unexpected prevalence of blood clotting among COVID cases, in what could pose a perfect storm of potentially fatal risk factors. . . . . .
Eugenics, in its practice, might best be described as a pseudo-scientific doctrine attributing features of racial, ethnic and socio-economic prejudice to empirical scientific fact. " . . . Eugenics is a set of beliefs and practices that aim to improve the genetic quality of a human population,[4][5] typically by excluding people and groups judged to be inferior, and promoting those judged to be superior. . . .
Discussion of the eugenic aspects of the Covid-19 phenomenon include:
1.-De facto rationing of health care during the pandemic in such a way as to potentially lethally discriminate against those with disabilities.
2.-Infection and death rates disproportionately high among populations enduring the economic and physiological affliction deriving from prejudice and social darwinistic doctrine: African-Americans, people who work in low-paying jobs that require close human contact and living in conditions that do not permit social distancing.
3.-The economically degrading effect of GOP fiscal policy with regard to public transportation during the pandemic.
4.-New York City has been stigmatized during the pandemic, as has New York State. As President Trump put it in his short-lived bid to 'QUARANTINE' New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, 'Some people would like to see New York quarantined because it's a hot spot' - the implication being that if New Yorkers could only be kept where they are, with checkpoints and guards if need be, Covid-19 could be stopped from spreading elsewhere in the country. Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida set up checkpoints to stop cars with New York or Louisiana license plates, so that state troopers can warn drivers to self-quarantine or face 60 days in jail - even as he hesitated to put any social distancing in place or close the beaches for spring break. Instead of admitting the danger of community spread in Florida, the governor framed the problem as one of outsiders bringing germs in. Governors in Maryland and other states warned anyone arriving from the New York City area to isolate themselves. On Twitter, Covid-19 has taken on a new sobriquet: the 'Cuomovirus.' . . ."
Critical observations by Wolfgang Schauble, the German/EU "Austerity Czar" who wrought so much suffering following the 2008 economic collapse has clearly enunciated the functional and philosophical essence of "corporatist" and eugenic doctrine.
This, too, is reflected in the Trumpian "LIBERATE MICHIGAN etc."
Some background on Schauble's outlook: " . . . . Hardly a German government representative is more notorious than Wolfgang Schäuble - worldwide. During the international financial crisis, when Schäuble was Germany's Minister of Finance, his EU counterparts trembled: Schäuble wanted to force them to adapt harsh austerity measures. Because the foreseeable social consequences would cost lives, Schäuble's tactics seemed to scare Europe with 'traumatic effects' and gave it a lesson in German economic ethics: Teutonic brutality and at all costs. 'Terrifying,' was the assessment the US Treasury Secretary made following his conversation with Schäuble. Paris and Madrid were also apprehensive; Athens called Schäuble an 'arsonist,' on a rampage through Europe. Schäuble has since climbed higher on the government ladder. Schäuble now ranks second, after the President, in the Federal Republic of Germany's protocolary system. . . . ."
